Sweet Solo

I simply love to paint every day. I can get lost for hours playing with mixed media (watercolors, inks, acrylics, collage, etc.)! I've been painting for over 30 years. I am inspired by reading art books, watching art videos and have attended many workshops with my favorite artists.

My husband and I walk at a lake near our house almost every day. I'm always amazed at the way the sun light makes shadow patterns on the pavement. I constantly point out interesting colors and shapes in the clouds. I also love to think about painting and colors as I fall asleep. I feel like art is a journey that can be constantly experienced even when you are not actually using a brush and paint.
