Collection: Eva Cincotta

Eva Cincotta is a graduate of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University, where she earned a B.S. in Education. She is an active member of the Rockport Art Association and Musseum and the Malden Sketch Group, and has previously exhibited with both the Copley Society of Boston and the North Shore Art Association. In addition to her studio practice, she teaches classes and workshops and serves as a board member for the Martha's Vineyard Art Association.

Cincotta’s work transforms everyday scenes into luminous, color-driven compositions. Drawn to the quiet poetry of the ordinary—a leaning building, a crooked street—she distills each subject to its essential relationships of space, balance, light, and color. Her paintings evoke a sense of nostalgia and stillness, offering viewers a moment of calm and a gentle return to a simpler, more reflective time.
