Vintage Wooden Textile Mill Spools

Large wooden industrial spools once used in textile mills to hold yarn or thread during the weaving process. Beautifully worn from years of use, each has a warm aged patina and sculptural form that gives it wonderful character.

Today they make striking decorative objects on their own or grouped together, and can also be repurposed as small display pedestals, candle stands, ribbon or twine holders, or risers for collected objects and seasonal décor. Their simple form and aged wood work especially well in rustic, farmhouse, and collected interiors.
