Antique Ironstone Pitcher - Johnson Bros

A beautifully simple late-19th to early-20th-century white ironstone pitcher by Johnson Brothers of England. Standing an impressive 13 inches tall, it has a graceful elongated body, sweeping handle, and dramatically extended spout that give it wonderful sculptural presence.

Originally made as part of a Victorian wash set, its clean white glaze and generous scale make it especially versatile today. Beautiful filled with hydrangeas, flowering branches, or seasonal greenery, or displayed on its own among collected whiteware, pewter, and wood.

Marked on the underside Royal Ironstone China, Johnson Bros., England.
