Vintage Trench Art Brass Shell

A striking example of World War I trench art, fashioned from a 1917 brass German artillery shell casing. Once an instrument of war, a 5" Howitzer brass shell, it was transformed by hand into an evocative decorative object.

Display as a sculptural object, or repurpose as a vase with frog, cache pot or catch-all. Best used with a removable liner when holding fresh flowers.
