Afterglow - Chromatic Dwellings No. 16

Rich with atmosphere and painterly depth, Afterglow evokes the lingering warmth of evening light against a quiet architectural form. One side reveals layered gestural brushwork in deep greens, ochres, reds, and indigo tones, while the opposing plane settles into a saturated ember-red surface balanced by a cool blue roofline.

The contrast between expressive painted movement and simplified geometry gives the piece both emotional resonance and sculptural clarity. Elevated on a deep indigo plinth, the work feels intimate yet grounded — part dwelling, part color study, and part architectural memory.
